About

My name is Lisa Bacon and I am a qualified Osteopath, with an integrated Masters degree from the European School of Osteopathy. I also have a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University College and am a qualified Pilates instructor.

I treat a wide variety of complaints using a combination of therapeutic techniques which I have developed from my training and experience as an osteopath working in different clinics, and as a sport massage therapist and Pilates instructor, before setting up Refined Osteopathy. This wide experience, as well as advice and learning from my colleagues has massively contributed to the osteopath I am today.

I pride myself on finding the source of pain/discomfort, giving the treatment needed and combined exercise plan to get to help you take your health into your own hands.

‘Be in control of your body and not at its mercy’ - Joseph Pilates

My personal interests have always been very sport orientated with a passion for fitness. I played multiple sports throughout childhood and teens and as part of my Sport Rehabilitation degree I was introduced to weight training, which has been a love of mine leading me to compete as a powerlifter.

I also have a passion for treating women and babies from the early stages of pregnancy, drawing from my own experiences through pregnancy and as a mum, understanding the changes our bodies experience throughout this time and into later life.
