HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
Osteopathic treatment varies from practitioner to practitioner and is tailored specifically for each patient. I predominantly use structural osteopathic techniques such as deep tissue massage, stretching and moving joints and muscles, joint manipulations also known as high velocity thrust (the clicks or cracking) and give detailed exercises to strengthen and increase mobility. I also treat cranially known as functional osteopathy, primarily used when treating babies, and combine both structural and functional techniques when treating pregnant women and specific complaints.
Osteopathy can help patients with a variety of conditions such as:
Generalised aches and pains
Back and neck pain
Acute and chronic pain
Muscles spasm
Headaches
Arthritic pain
Neuralgia
Frozen shoulder
Tennis and golfers elbow
Sports injuries
Giving a list of conditions can sometimes give a false picture. Osteopaths treat people, not conditions and osteopaths are able to help in many ways when a person’s function is affected by their structure, however that manifests.
